Deborah Blau's work focuses on imagined and invented weather, anticipating and remembered storms in our changing climate.   Her large scale work depicting aerial views, land forms and weather patterns seek to uproot a viewer's perspective on the familiar and offer re-imagined landscapes. 
Deborah's work has been shown at the Blue Hill Art and Cultural Center,  Outside In Piermont, Gallery 95 1/2 in Nyack and various other group and solo exhibits notably Piermont Straus in Piermont, New York. She is the artistic director of Tallman Mountain Arts , a nonprofit cultural outreach program affiliated with Piermont Reformed Church.
